Developing your Brief

We will happily meet you for a no obligation site visit to discuss your aspirations for your project and help define your brief, including:

The functions of the finished project.  Who will use it and for what?
Your motivations and expectations.  What do you hope to achieve by this project, in the short and long term, for yourself and others?
A design direction. Contrasting or in keeping with the existing buildings? Contemporary or traditional? We have experience of delivering contemporary houses using innovative construction techniques and also working with listed buildings so whatever your project needs, we can tailor the design to suit.
Sustainability aspirations.  Do you wish to lower your energy needs, use renewable, sutainable materials or even eliminate your heating bills completely?
Timetables and budgets.  When should key stages be completed, how much should they cost and how will they be financed?

We are Chartered architects who are members of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). By appointing a RIBA Chartered architect you have the assurance that we have the qualifications and practical experience required to deliver your project and that our professional standards are up to date. Our Fees

Our fee will vary depending upon the scope of the project and the services you require. We can be very flexible and will happily sit down to discuss with you the alternative options for our fee structure that most suit your needs, these may be:

Time charges
Fixed sums
A percentage of the final construction cost
